All Medical Personnel - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Gross Weekly Rate: $2,526

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer chemotherapy and IV fluids via peripherally inserted central catheters.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify issues, and develop care plans.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about post-discharge care and treatment protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to modify care plans as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to new staff members.
  • Document patient care accurately and comprehensively.
  • Assist in crisis situations, utilizing knowledge of medications, infection control, and safety precautions.
  • Participate in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and delegate care to team members, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  • Minimum of one year of oncology or infusion experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to develop care plans, assess patient needs, and work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of medication protocols, infection prevention, and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Previous experience with oncology infusion therapies.
  • Certification in oncology nursing (OCN) within the first year of employment.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • At least one year of relevant clinical experience in infusion or oncology nursing.

Additional Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Willingness to obtain OCN certification within one year.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Ability to handle patient care in a professional, compassionate manner.
