Travel Nurse RN - Infusion - $2,599 per week in West Islip, NY

YOUR CANDIDATE WILL NOT BE SUBMITTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. Start date is subject to change based on nursing education availability. Local rate is considered within 75 miles of the facility. Work settings include Infusion Center, Inpatient oncology, and Outpatient oncology. Required skills include administration of chemotherapy and body fluid handling post-chemotherapy. IV push administration of chemotherapy is necessary. Administration of coagulation factors, antifungals, and antivirals is required. Administration of blood and blood products is essential. Care and management of ports are crucial. Infusion pump management is part of the role. Intravenous hydration and multivitamins administration are expected. PICC line care and starting and maintaining IVs are required. Knowledge of medications, including antibiotics, is needed. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratios and community experience details are also relevant for this position. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and pharmacy. Candidates must have two supervisory clinical references at the time of submission. Charge RN references are acceptable. Preference will be given to those with prior travel assignments, but significant experience will be considered. All nursing positions must have a NY State license in hand.
