Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Grass Valley, California.
Shift: 8H Days 8 hr Days, one wknd per 4 week schedule, First to Float Description.
Unit: Ambulatory Treatment Center/ Infusion Center # beds: 13 infusion chairs Ratios: not applicable in an outpatient setting, but we try to limit to 4 active infusions at a time Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ONS chemo/immunotherapy provider card Require ONS/ ONCC certification with adequate experience/ knowledge base. Proficiency in chemo administration requires several years of oncology experience.Common diagnoses/ types of patients: Oncology patients: all varieties of oncology diagnoses, with emphasis on Cisplatin/ FOLFOX/ FOLFIRI etc very long, complicated cases; Frequent management of hypersensitivity reactions; Oncology patients needing zometa/ reclast/ zoledronic acid; hydration; blood transfusions; various injections; Community patients: needing iron, reclast, albumin, blood transfusions, hydration, prolia injections, rabies series injections, long/ short term antibiotics
