Job Summary:
Infusion Nurse in a clinical setting based in the area. This role involves developing, coordinating, and delivering evidence-based educational programs and competency validation for oncology nursing staff. The position requires collaboration with nurse leadership, clinical specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to support orientation, professional development, and continuing education. The infusion nurse must monitor compliance with oncology-specific regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards, including Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) guidelines, chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification, and competency requirements.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with a shift of 7.5 hours per day and minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License, primary source verification, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certification, and current Oncology Nurse Certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy certification and preceptor experience.
• Additional Information: Must have two years of medical/surgical chemotherapy infusion experience. Skills include intravenous (IV) insertion and phlebotomy. This role is based at the central office and involves travel to designated healthcare facilities to support clinical activities. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekends.
