Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,605 per week in Plano, TX

Job Title: Travel RN ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years of hospital experience, 2+ years of specialty experience License: Active RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without the following skills will not be considered for the role: 2+ years of hospital experience 2+ years of specialty experience Description: This position is for a Travel RN in the ICU. The role requires a dynamic and dedicated nurse with critical care experience. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a challenging environment. Patient ratios in the unit are typically 2:1. The unit has 36 beds in the CCU and 30 in the Burn Trauma ICU. Central lines, arterial lines, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions are common procedures performed. A supervisor will be present on every shift. You may be required to float to other areas as needed. Documentation is completed using a specific system. Every other weekend is required in the schedule. Candidates should have experience with the following: Meditech (preferred), TNCC, CCRN, TCRN. Dress code requirements include: Royal blue scrubs for RNs. Nail policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails or gel. Hair should be neat and clean, pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
