Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,605 per week in Plano, TX

Job Title: Travel RN ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years hospital experience, Minimum 2 years specialty experience License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; TNCC, CCRN, TCRN preferred Must-Have: Candidates must have: - 2+ years of hospital experience - 2+ years of specialty experience Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience and 2 years of specialty experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Experience with MEDITECH is preferred along with TNCC, CCRN, or TCRN certifications. The unit has a total of 66 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1. Specific procedures performed include central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions. Supervisors are available on every shift. Personal appearance should meet the dress code requirements. Scrub color for RNs is royal blue. Nail policy requires clean hands with no artificial nails. Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. Patients expect a high standard of care and professionalism.
