Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,668 per week in Round Rock, TX

Job Title: RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire or job transfer date. Certifications: - Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire or job transfer date. - BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire or job transfer date. Must-Have: - ACLS - BLS - NIH Certification Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Knowledge of complex procedures preferred, such as CRRT and trauma care. Staffing ratio is 1:2 for ICU and 1:1 for specialized procedures.
