Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,738 per week in Chattanooga, TN

Patient ratios are 2:1 and 3:1. All staff are registered nurses. The equipment includes ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors. Documentation is done using a specific system. Self-scheduling is allowed with manager oversight, including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule. Staff may be required to float to critical staffing needs in Med-Surg or the emergency department. Patient experience requirements include AIDET, BSSR (Bedside shift report), and achieving Press Ganey goals of 75%. The unit is certified as a Chest Pain Center and has Stroke Accreditation. Advanced skills needed include ventilator management, IV drip titration, and arterial line management. Procedures performed on the unit include intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions. Dress code mandates navy blue scrubs.
