Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting License: Active nursing license in good standing (with compact if indicated) Certifications: BLS required, ACLS required, current NIH certification (must be certified annually) Must-Have: 2 years ICU experience Description: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required. Must have an active nursing license. BLS and ACLS certification are required. Current NIH certification must be maintained annually. Candidates should have experience with CPAP and BiPAP management, port access, and therapeutic phlebotomy. Preferred experience includes chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vacs, drains, post-dialysis assessment, central lines, blood transfusion, and ventilators. Procedures performed on the unit include telemetry monitoring, paracentesis (physician-led), BiPAP, and therapeutic phlebotomy. The unit has a supportive environment with excellent teamwork. Communication among team members is encouraged through various platforms. Interdisciplinary collaboration with all providers is a key focus.
