Roles & Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care nursing for a 20-bed ICU, maintaining a 1:2 patient ratio
  • Manage ventilators, ICP monitoring and advanced hemodynamic monitoring for critically ill patients
  • Assess, intervene and collaborate quickly during emergencies using ACLS and BLS protocols
  • Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as staffing needs require, providing seamless patient care across units
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (Meditech Expanse experience preferred)
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients and families to optimize outcomes
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing competency validation to keep skills sharp and current
