**Exciting Opportunity for an ICU RN in Frankfort, Kentucky!**
**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Travel RN - ICU
- **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- **Experience Required:** 2 years in a hospital setting
**Key Requirements:**
- Must have a valid KY/compact nursing license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Current NIH certification (must be certified annually)
**Unit Specifics:**
- Number of Beds: 10
- Patient Ratios: 2:1, 3:1
- Staffing: Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNC), RNs, PCTs, Nurse Externs
- Equipment: Philips Telemetry, Baxter pumps, iMobile, Vents, glucometer
- Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
- Scheduling: Every other weekend, three 12-hour shifts
- Floating Policy: May float to PCU, 3rd floor, or ED
- Patient Experience: At least 2 years of ICU experience

**Preferred Skills:**
- CPAP and BiPAP management
- Port access, therapeutic phlebotomy
- Experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vacs, drains, post-dialysis assessment, central lines, blood transfusion, ventilators
**Procedures Performed:**
- Telemetry monitoring
- Paracentesis (physician-led)
- BiPAP, therapeutic phlebotomy
**Dress Code:**
- Required uniform: Navy or gray scrubs
