Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,858 per week in Corpus Christi, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have ICU experience Description: The unit has 24 beds and a staff of 50. Day shift consists of 1 CNC, 12 RNs, and 1 Unit Secretary, with 1-3 sitters per week. Night shift consists of 1 CNC, 12 RNs, and 1-3 sitters per week. Patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2. Common equipment includes vents, Swans, Impellas, and balloon pumps. The EMR system is in use. Skills most sought after include ICU experience. Preferred skills include Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and CV surgery experience. Typical procedures performed in this unit include intubation, central lines, bronchoscopy, EVDs, ICP monitoring, Swan Pacers, and bolts. Excellent customer service skills are required. Weekend shifts will occur every other weekend. Staff may be placed on call if not needed for the scheduled shift, but will only be on call for that specific shift. No additional call expectations are in place.
