Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Georgia
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Georgia

Schedule: Block scheduling is not guaranteed; every other weekend required; nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:2, with the possibility of 1:3 during peak census periods
Highlights:
- 24-bed Intensive Care Unit with an average daily census of 19 patients
- Diverse critical care case mix including ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-operative complications, cardiogenic shock, GI bleed, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT
- Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, and more
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
- Orientation hours provided; compliance must be completed in advance to ensure on-time start
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Strong clinical skills including ventilator management, central line care, stroke management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, high-flow nasal cannula, and suctioning techniques
- Experience with CRRT, post-cardiac surgery care, and post-neurosurgery management preferred
- Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Flexibility to work major holidays as assigned based on contract period
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
