Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,871 per week in Salt Lake City, UT

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience, will consider 1 year with strong experience License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of ICU experience - Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills Description: This position is for an ICU Registered Nurse on a night shift. The unit has 24 beds and a staffing of 46 personnel. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2, with 1:3 for PCU boarders and 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity patients. There is one CCT/US available during day shift if there are 10 patients. The documentation system used is EPIC. Straight nights or a 50/50 scheduling requirement applies. The role may require floating to PCU or serving as a sitter elsewhere in the hospital. Typical procedures performed include rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, bronchoscopy, intubation, arterial line placement, and chest tube placement. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and be a team player.
