This dynamic role will involve providing high-quality care in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit (NVICU) at a prestigious medical center. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel- Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their family members
- Manage patient care with a patient ratio of 2:1, and adjusting as necessary based on acuity
- Collaborate with unit staff including unit secretaries and occasional nurse externs
- Perform procedures including insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, and chest tube insertions
- Utilize and maintain unit equipment such as ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, and SLED
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel- Active RN license
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ICU experience
