Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 6 months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required in specialty License: GA or Compact license required at time of application Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred, patient ratio experience of 2, and charting system experience preferred. Description: Minimum experience of 2 years is required. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Weekend coverage will be required every other weekend. There is no on-call duty. Floating may occur within the facility and scope of practice as needed. Compliance with all requirements is fully necessary to start in a timely manner. If not compliant, the orientation may be pushed back by two weeks due to the bi-weekly schedule. Local candidates are accepted and will receive the same rate. The traveler is expected to work on one major holiday if it falls within their assignment period. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance documentation must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to the start date. References from two supervisory individuals are highly preferred. Please note: Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete any required tasks within 48 hours of signing the contract. All modules are non-billable and must be completed during orientation as part of the hiring process.
