Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,877 per week in Nashville, TN

Job Opportunity – Neurovascular ICU RN – Tennessee

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling flexibility. Schedules are created in 4-week increments with a minimum requirement of 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. Manager balances assignments to ensure equitable coverage.

Highlights:

• 16-bed Neurovascular ICU specializing in complex neurological and critical care patients
• Patient ratios typically 2:1, with 1:1 or 3:1 adjustments based on acuity and staffing levels
• Advanced equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 hemodynamic monitoring
• Meditech documentation system for streamlined charting and patient management
• Unit secretary support during day shifts; occasional nurse extern/tech assistance available
• Exposure to critical procedures including central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD placements

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state licensure
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ICU nursing experience mandatory
• Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required as standard uniform
