Job Opportunity – Neuro ICU RN – Tennessee

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling options. Schedule created in 4-week increments. Minimum requirement of 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. Flexible scheduling with manager support to balance assignments.

Highlights:

• 16-bed Neuro ICU providing critical care for complex neurological patients
• Patient ratios of 2:1, with 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing needs
• Advanced equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 hemodynamic monitoring
• Meditech documentation system for streamlined charting
• Unit secretary support during day shift with occasional nurse extern assistance
• Exposure to critical procedures including central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• ICU nursing experience required
• Navy scrub uniform (tops and bottoms) required
