Job Title: RN – ICU
Location: Durango, CO
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift (12x3)
Experience Required: 2 Years
Pay Rate: $1900 to $2100 per week
Job Summary:
If you’re at your best when things get intense and can read a patient’s condition faster than a monitor can beep, the ICU is where you belong. As an ICU RN, you’ll handle high-acuity cases that demand precision, quick thinking, and a steady hand—because here, every decision truly matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions
- Continuously monitor patient status using advanced ICU equipment
- Administer medications, IV drips, and specialized treatments
- Manage ventilators and other life-support systems
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation
- Support patients and families during critical situations
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience with ventilators, drips, and cardiac monitoring
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
