Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,917 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN preferred Must-Have: - Care of Ventilated Patients - Continuous IV sedation - Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring Description: The ICU is a 16-bed, mixed-acuity environment servicing Critical Care, Stepdown, and Cardiac Telemetry patients. Patient ratios vary from 1:2 to 1:4. The team consists of skilled nurses, patient support technicians, and monitor technicians. All team members are responsible for providing quality, patient-centered care to all levels of patient acuity. This department presents great challenges and demands flexibility. Staff will develop a wide range of skills across diverse patient care scenarios. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, and Pharmacy. Daily census averages around 11 patients. The environment encourages the development of a well-rounded skill set.
