TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Beaufort, South Carolina, 29902!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of PCU/Stepdown/ICU experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Travelers must have ICU experience. PCU nurses will float to the ICU unit. Must be comfortable doing both ICU and Stepdown roles. Must confirm willingness to float frequently. Facility has strict radius requirements. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in Stepdown and ICU. The nurse will frequently float to ICU and MedSurg units. Patient ratios are 1:4-5 in Stepdown and 1:2 in ICU. Must be prepared for floating across Stepdown, ICU, and MedSurg units. Daily census is approximately 17 patients. The unit features 21 beds with additional support from various services. Common patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, respiratory failure, pneumonia, and cardiac arrhythmias. Work will often involve non-titrating drips and managing stable patients. Experience with certain treatments and equipment is preferred, including peritoneal dialysis and BiPAP management. Comfort with telemetry and oxygen administration is essential. Must maintain a focus on patient care quality and safety. Expected to work weekends and holidays as part of the rotation. This role is integral to providing high-quality nursing care in a critical environment.
