Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: State RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Must have at least one year of EPIC experience - Floating required if the unit has a need - Weekend coverage every other weekend Description: Shift duration is 3x12 Nights from 19:00 to 07:30. Floating is required when necessary due to unit demands. Weekend coverage is expected every other weekend, subject to change based on needs. The position is open to first-time travelers depending on specialty experience. Patient demographics are 18 years and older with various diagnoses. Conditions include ventilator weaning, wound care, and spinal cord injuries. The ICU consists of 12 beds, with an additional 31-bed Med-Surg unit. Staff are expected to work across both units. Candidates should possess knowledge and competencies related to patient care in an ICU setting. There is interdisciplinary support from various services including physical therapy and respiratory services. Essential skills include medications management, wound care, and understanding of complex patient needs. Competencies must be demonstrated and documented for all tasks.
