Common conditions include sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, alcohol use and abuse, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Candidates should have experience with ventilators and other advanced medical equipment. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role.
