Description:
This position is for an ICU Registered Nurse in a fast-paced environment.
The unit has 24 beds and a staffing of 46.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2, with specialties allowing for 1:3 and 1:1 ratios based on acuity.
Documentation is done through an EPIC system.
Staffing includes 1 CCT/US during the day shift for 10 patients.
Floating may occur to the PCU or as a sitter anywhere within the hospital.
Typical procedures performed include central line placement, bronchoscopy, intubation, and chest tube placement.
The ideal candidate is outgoing and a team player.
Weekend shifts required are three within a four-week period.
