Registered Nurse – ICU | Prescott Valley, AZ | 13 Weeks Contract

  • Position: Registered Nurse – ICU
  • Location: Prescott Valley
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Night Shift
  • Schedule: 3×12
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay:$2050 to $2250
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit
  • Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and hemodynamic stability
  • Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other critical care therapies
  • Operate and monitor advanced life support equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and other ICU technologies
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond rapidly to emergencies
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge planning when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Follow infection prevention protocols, patient safety guidelines, and hospital policies
  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while advocating for patients and their families
Requirements
  • Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Current ACLS Certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of critical care protocols, ventilator management, and emergency response
  • Experience caring for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Excellent assessment, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment
