Job Title: Level 2 RN ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Acute Care Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Variable Schedule Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse. Certifications: Must-Have: - BLS, ACLS, PALS required - Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire - CPI certification within 90 days of hire Description: The position involves working in an ICU setting on a day and night schedule. The nurse will be required to hold certifications through the RQI system. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion is crucial. The individual must manage multiple priorities while enhancing teamwork. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Computer literacy is required, with preferred experience in Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records. Customer focus is key, demonstrating professional behavior and effective communication. Nurses must ensure safety and promote dignity and respect in the healing environment. Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan is necessary. The ability to assess patient data relative to age-specific needs is required.
