Registered Nurse – Intensive Care - ICU - Travel - (ICU RN)

Pay Rate: $2084.00 - $2191.00
Travel RN-ICU jobs in Rapid City, SD let you deliver critical care in a facility with a collaborative culture and advanced technology. You will assess and monitor critically ill patients, operate life-support equipment, and document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid South Dakota RN license or Compact RN license, and Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications. At least 1.5 to 2 years of recent ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency are required.
Recommended skills include experience with IV medications, ventilator management, telemetry, and strong critical thinking. Cardiac experience and familiarity with Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) are preferred.
