Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Critical Care preferred License: Virginia or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Strong neuro experience (post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke) Must be willing to float to Stepdown Unit. Must be EPIC proficient. No prior license or background hits will be accepted. Description: Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. You will provide care for critically ill patients with diverse needs. Patient populations include neurosurgical, post-stroke, respiratory failure, renal failure, trauma, sepsis, and heart failure. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing vents, IV drip titration, and telemetry. Dysrhythmia and emergency management skills are essential. You will have a patient ratio of 1:2 to 3. Travel experience is preferred but not required. You will demonstrate competencies in a variety of critical care skills. This role requires exceptional communication and teamwork abilities. Be prepared to float to various units as needed.
