Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,092 per week in Greenwood, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Must be licensed to practice in South Carolina Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratio of 2:1 - Charting System experience required (Epic preferred) - Travel experience required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Intensive Care Unit. The shift schedule is 3x12 hours, days from 07:00 to 19:00. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend coverage is required. The patient population includes a variety of complex diagnoses, such as GI bleeds, COPD exacerbations, cardiac and respiratory arrests, overdoses, suicides, and withdrawal patients. The nurse will be expected to provide care for patients on ventilators and those undergoing targeted temperature management. Key skills include the management of dysrhythmias, central line care, continuous IV sedation, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips. The nurse will also need to interpret arterial blood gases and perform suctioning as needed. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including respiratory services and rapid response teams. Candidates must be prepared to float to different areas within the hospital as needed.
