Description: CVICU experience is a plus but not required. Travelers are allowed one call out per contract. If there is a second call out, proper documentation is required and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. This facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and has 171 beds. It serves as a community hospital and regional referral center. It is a Certified Chest Pain Center and Trauma Level 3 facility. Local attractions include outdoor recreation such as fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. There are various local restaurants, breweries, and distilleries to enjoy. Beautiful mountain ranges are paired with serene lake scenery. Major cities nearby include Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon National Park. Unit information includes 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Equipment includes Baxter pumps and the EHR system is Medhost. The supervisor will be Katelyn Belt. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnostic and treatment areas include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. Dress code allows any scrub color.
