Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active registered nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Travel experience is a plus Description: CVICU experience is a plus but not required. Attendance policy allows one call out per contract. A second call out will require proper documentation and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This facility is a community hospital and regional referral center. It includes a certified chest pain center and is a level 3 trauma facility. The local area offers outdoor recreation, including fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. Candidates can explore local restaurants, breweries, and distilleries. Beautiful mountain ranges provide serene lake scenery. The location is within driving distance to major cities, including Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon National Park. Unit Information: The ICU has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Equipment used includes Baxter pumps, and the electronic health record system is Medhost. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. Candidates should possess the necessary skills and experience for the role. Dress code allows for any scrub color, with no unacceptable attire specified.
