Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,092 per week in Wichita, KS

Job Title: RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital ICU experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience. BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications required. Description: The unit has 26 beds and 15 staff members. Day shift consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech. Night shift consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech. Patient ratios are 1:2. The equipment used includes balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices. The EMR system utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include heart catheters, medication drips, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, and cardioversion. Candidates with prior Meditech experience and travel nursing experience are preferred. The ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, has a positive attitude, and is engaged.
