Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care to medical and neuro ICU patients
- Manage and monitor patients on CRRT/CVVH and intervene promptly for renal and hemodynamic needs
- Perform rapid assessment and interventions for sepsis, respiratory failure, and post-cardiac arrest patients
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and advanced ICU monitoring equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, RTs, pharmacists and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Safely float between Medical ICU, SICU and IMC while maintaining expected unit ratios (typically 1:2 or 1:1 for high acuity)
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with unit and program requirements
