Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,113 per week in Towson, MD

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH Must-Have: - 2 years of ICU experience - Experience with required patient populations and diagnoses - Ability to float within scope Description: The ICU Registered Nurse will work night shifts, providing care to critically ill patients. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring and supporting adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Patient diagnoses may include surgical abdominal, neuro, cardiac, pneumonia, sepsis, and post-operative care. The role involves managing ventilated patients and administering medications and sedations. The nurse will utilize special equipment such as ventilators and CRRT. Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ECMO patients is preferred. The nurse must be comfortable floating to lower acuity areas when needed. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Holidays will be scheduled as needed. Floating to other specified units within the specialty may be required. The nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive care. Candidates are expected to adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
