Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,128 per week in Lubbock, TX

This position may float between units. On-call is not required. Weekends are required with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. Block schedules are approved based on unit needs. Expected patient ratios are 1:2 or 1:3. The facility type is a short-term acute care hospital. It has a total of 379 staffed beds and is a Level II trauma center. The department dress code for licensed nursing personnel is solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable attire. Free parking is available in designated areas. Staffing and scheduling are self-scheduled. The unit typically cares for adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 13 patients. Special procedures include CRRT and chemotherapy administration. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and social services. Patient diagnoses include respiratory disorders, renal disorders, and sepsis. Special equipment involves CRRT and patient monitoring systems. Candidates may be expected to float to sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Travelers may need to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. References covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required. Additional submissions may be required during the compliance process.
