Description:
Shift schedule involves three 12-hour shifts.
Weekends required every third week.
No on-call requirements.
Locals and pending licenses not accepted.
Travelers must be available to work.
Patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
Daily census ranges from 14 to 18 patients.
Number of beds in the unit is 18.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
Candidates should have skills in managing ventilated patients, central line care, and preparing patients for procedures.
Experience with acute stroke management and interpreting dysrhythmias is preferred.
Travelers must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as required.
Consecutive contract policy applies; breaks may be required after a designated period of travel employment.
