Must-Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
Description:
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Analyze the assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
Implement the plan and coordinate care delivery while employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes.
Identify outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation.
Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
Directly provide health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
