Key Responsibilities of the RN - Critical Care - Travel- Meet expectations of applicable leadership competencies.
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and care givers.
Requirements of the RN - Critical Care - Travel- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
- 1 year of experience in critical care nursing preferred
- BLS required (AHA only)
- ACLS required (AHA only)
- RN License in state of TX or compact
