This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing. Candidates must possess current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. The role involves caring for patients with a variety of critical conditions including stroke, renal failure, and respiratory failure. Familiarity with special equipment such as central lines, chest tubes, and emergency carts is essential. Nurses will be involved in procedures such as blood product administration and care of ventilated patients. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various health professionals. Monthly census in this unit averages around 12 patients. Flexibility to float within the ICU specialty is required for this role. Candidates should be ready to work every third weekend.
