• Position: Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

• Weekly Pay:$2150 to $2350

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and hemodynamic stability
• Administer medications, IV therapies, vasoactive drips, blood products, and advanced life-support treatments as prescribed
• Operate and monitor advanced critical care equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and other ICU technology
• Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, recovery expectations, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and critical care best practices
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting patients and families during challenging situations

Requirements

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Current ACLS Certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred
• Experience managing ventilated patients, cardiac monitoring, and critically ill medical or surgical patients
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities
