Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active, unrestricted RN License or valid, participating compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Must be open to floating to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed Description: Position for an ICU Registered Nurse with flexibility to float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. Night shift, three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Patient ratios in the ICU are 1:1 or 1:2. In Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units, ratios are typically 1:4 or 1:5. Experience in ICU and strong background in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry is preferred. Candidates will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in critical situations. Weekend work is required every other weekend. The role includes managing critically ill patients, including neuro and trauma cases. Travelers must be adaptable, reliable, and willing to float according to hospital needs. Candidates should possess skills in arterial line management, ventilator management, and the care of critically ill patients. Experience with standard medical equipment and patient care protocols is necessary. All staff are expected to adhere to established quality and patient safety standards.
