Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,189 per week in Nampa, ID

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must be a good team player - Experience in titrating drips - Comfort with first-time travelers Description: The position is in the Intensive Care Unit. The unit has a bed capacity of 10. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2. Common diagnoses include heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, and strokes. Nurses will be responsible for managing patients on various medications, including Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, and Fentanyl. There is a charge nurse present who does not take patients. There is administrative support on site 24/7. Crisis nursing support is available around the clock. Respiratory therapists are available in the ICU 24/7. There is a CNA assigned to each shift for assistance. Nurses are responsible for reading telemetry strips. Shifts are scheduled by the unit scheduler. Weekend requirements will be based on unit needs. There is no call or standby requirement. Floating may occur to other units as necessary. Scrub color should be clean and professional. Orientation will consist of 1 to 2 shifts, depending on experience. Candidates should be aware of the radius rule for employment eligibility.
