Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,194 per week in Seattle, WA

Required skills include vents, telemetry, and conscious sedation. Experience with arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and central line care/management. Knowledge of emergency medications and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the ICU. The role requires working all scheduled shifts without accommodation of scheduling requests. Ratios for day shifts are 1:2, and for night shifts, 1:3. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. First-time travelers are accepted with strong experience. Weekends are required every other week. The clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs in other ICU units. Proficiency in tele is required, and candidates must pass a fill-in-the-blank tele test. Preferred skills include IV starts, ICP monitoring, PA lines, and level 1 trauma experience. The patient population consists of 70% medical patients and 30% cardiology patients. The facility promotes an interdisciplinary approach with support from various services. Candidates must have experience with CRRT, IABP, and Impella, although they are highly preferred. The position involves a daily census of 15.5 and includes care for a variety of complex medical conditions. Candidates should be prepared for compliance in accordance with organizational policies.
