Position: Registered Nurse – ICU
Location: Silverdale
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 3×12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay:$2200 to $2400
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit
Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, neurological status, respiratory function, and hemodynamic stability
Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
Operate and monitor advanced life support equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and CRRT equipment as needed
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Recognize changes in patient condition and respond rapidly to emergencies and code situations
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge planning when appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Follow infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while advocating for patients and their families
Requirements
Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
Current BLS Certification required
Current ACLS Certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
Strong knowledge of ventilator management, critical care protocols, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
Experience caring for high-acuity medical and surgical ICU patients
Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Excellent communication, assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills
Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced critical care environment
