Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of recent ICU experience License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Ability to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Proficient in arterial line management and central line care - Skills in continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips - Proficient in BiPAP/CPAP management and maintenance - Experience in caring for ventilated patients - Ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) - Knowledge of suctioning techniques and isolation precautions Description: We are seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an intensive care unit. The role involves managing critically ill patients with complex needs. You will be responsible for interpreting cardiac rhythms and making appropriate clinical interventions. Nurses in this role will be required to work full 12-hour shifts. Completion of an assessment is required within the first day of orientation. This position requires strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure optimal patient care.
