Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,215 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: Critical Care Float RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Must hold a valid state nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Proficiency with EPIC IV start experience Telemetry experience Ventilator management experience Previous travel nursing experience preferred Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend Day shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity. Float policy requires nurses to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Experience in the following areas is highly desirable: Accessing/managing ports Arterial line management Chest tube insertion/removal BiPAP/CPAP management Blood product administration Care of ventilated patients Central line care/management Chronic/acute renal failure Continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade Continuous IV sedation CVA/acute stroke management Emergency medications External ventricular drain management Phlebotomy PICC line management Suctioning (ETT, NT) Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Daily responsibilities will include: Assuming care of patients in high-acuity settings. Collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams. Participating in emergency response and interventions. Providing compassionate care to critically ill patients. The position requires floating to all ICU specialties. Willingness to accommodate unit needs is essential. There is a minimum requirement of every other weekend shifts.
