Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,218 per week in Hagerstown, MD

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care ICU – Maryland

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, may float to IMC as needed

Highlights:

• Critical care environment serving trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patient populations
• 24-bed ICU with daily census of approximately 18 patients and comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• Epic EMR system utilized for all charting and documentation
• 24-hour orientation period with ongoing support from pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Specialized equipment experience including CRRT, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and intraventricular drains (EVDs)
• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac and neuro interventions in a progressive critical care setting

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Maryland (pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2-3 years of critical care experience required; previous travel experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
• Strong clinical skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, vasoactive drip titration, central line care, and blood product administration
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (no exemptions)
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
