Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,221 per week in Hagerstown, MD

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required. Float to IMC (Intermediate Care) as needed to meet facility needs. 24-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Acute care unit specializing in Trauma, Cardiovascular, Stroke, and Neuro patient populations
• 24-bed ICU with daily census of approximately 18 patients and comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• Epic EMR system required; experience with CRRT, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps, and EVDs preferred
• One time-off request permitted during assignment; must be submitted at time of application
• Opportunity to work with complex critical care cases including post-surgical, medical, and trauma patients
• Full support services including Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active RN license (pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 3 years preferred
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care setting
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (no exemptions)
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius (local candidates considered at adjusted rate)
