Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,221 per week in Hagerstown, MD

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, float to IMC as needed

Highlights:

• 24-bed ICU with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Epic EMR system; 24-hour orientation provided
• Manageable patient ratios of 1:2 on days and nights
• Advanced equipment including CRRT, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and intraventricular drains (EVDs)
• One pre-approved time-off request available per contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Maryland (pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 3 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (no exemptions)
