RN ICU jobs in Ithaca, NY let you deliver critical care nursing for patients with complex and acute conditions at the facility. You will assess, plan, and implement care, prioritize both expected and unanticipated needs, and document using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
To qualify, you need an active New York RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification may be obtained during the introductory period. Experience in critical care and proficiency with EMR systems are important.
Recommended skills include strong clinical assessment, prioritization, teamwork, and adaptability.
